How it works

From stuck to a clear plan — step by step.

Under pressure, decisions get rushed. Our process slows the decisions down and speeds the work up: four clear phases, concrete outputs, and you in control at every gate.

01

Assess

Typically days, not weeks.

We review the product, code and infrastructure, customers and revenue quality, cost base, contracts, cap table and key people. We talk to the founders — and, where useful, investors and advisers — to understand every angle.

You get: a candid written view of where you stand, the realistic routes forward, and our recommendation.

02

Stabilize

Create room to decide well.

Cut avoidable cost, secure critical systems and access, agree how and when customers are informed, and put a short-term plan around cash, hosting, support and key people. Nothing is announced without your agreement.

You get: a stabilization plan and a clear picture of how much time you have to act.

03

Rebuild

Shape what comes next.

Depending on the route: narrow the product to what customers value most, separate a strong module into its own product, tidy up code, documentation and data, or prepare a package of product, customers and systems for a new owner.

You get: a defined, presentable product or asset — with customers, technology and documentation in order.

04

Relaunch or hand over

Carry it across the line.

We run the chosen route with you: a focused relaunch, a sale or handover to a buyer or operator, or — where that’s genuinely right — an orderly close with customer notice, data handling and records done properly.

You get: a completed transition, with customers, team and stakeholders treated fairly.

Principles

How we approach every case.

Built on 15 years of scaling, saving and revitalizing startups — and learning what actually works when the pressure is on.

  • Honest from day one. You get a straight answer on your options, even when it isn’t the easy one.
  • Customers come first. Every route we take includes a fair path for the people who rely on the product.
  • Confidential by default. Nothing leaves the engagement without your agreement.
  • Alongside your advisers. We complement legal, insolvency and accounting professionals — we don’t replace them, and we don’t give legal advice.
  • Commercially grounded. Every option is judged on what it achieves, for whom, and at what cost and risk.

Getting started

All we need is a rough picture.

The intake takes about five minutes: what the company does, where things stand, and what worries you most. No preparation needed.

We reply personally within one business day. If we can help, we set up a confidential conversation. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll say so — and point you to someone who is.
